Description
No prep and Print and Go icebreaker activities for your first day, or first week, of science class! This resource includes five fun science themed activities geared towards High School students. They are designed to be low-key (which teens appreciate!), but still get kids moving around the room and interacting with their peers.
Activities are adjustable and editable. Each activity takes 10-15 minutes to play.
The resource includes:
- A detailed four page Teaching Guide with instructions and ideas to tailor the icebreaker for your classroom needs.

- Two Science Truths and a Lie – No prep!
- Would You Rather? Science Edition! – No prep! Resource includes a Google Form with science themed questions for partner, group, or whole class discussion
- Science Superpower – Each student needs ¼ sheet of white paper. This is my favorite activity and you end up with super fun student art to put on your wall.
- Science Speed Chat – Print and Go! Resource includes 6 unique open ended science themed questions and a rotation method that allows students to answer each question with a different partner.
Choose your favorite icebreaker activity for the first day of school, or do one each day for the first week of school!
These quick games would also work as fun Friday activities (we all need some fun activities for Fridays!)
